dalescott.net also hosts a SaaS business applications using subdomains (e.g. mantis.dalescott.net).
Administrative access to the dalescott.net server is by encrypted SSH public/private-key authentication only. Access to www.dalescott.net as well as hosted SaaS applications is encrypted using secure Let’s Encrypt HTTPS/TLS certificates, but the security of each hosted SaaS application is the sole responsibility of its developer.
Services provided on dalescott.net are considered Business Operational with a target availability uptime of 99% or greater during local extended business hours. Security of dalescott.net and hosted SaaS applictcations is continuously monitored by Security Scorecard, and any reported issues are promptly reviewed and acted upon.

When visitors leave comments on dalescott.net we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, be aware images may include embedded data (e.g. EXIF GPS location) that you may not wish to share. Visitors are generally able to download images, and could extract the embedded data.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments is checked through the Akismet Anti-spam service. The information we collect includes the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself).
